TEDx Redding: Sustainable gardening in local schools documentary

TEDx Redding: Sustainable gardening in local schools documentary
As part of it’s mission of activating ideas sparked by TEDx talks throughout the local community, TEDxRedding is excited to present the following documentary, written and produced by members of our TEDxRedding youth team, based at University Preparatory School here in Redding, CA.
This team of students was particularly interested in local intersections between education, architecture and sustainable gardening. Inspired by sustainable gardening classes at schools like Redding School of the Arts and University Prepratory School and by the outdoor education designs of Redding’s own Trilogy Architecture, this short documentary chronicles how TEDxRedding events helped create opportunities to bring students and the community closer to each other, to nature, and to healthy gardening practices.
